Vojvodina lost at its stadium to Radnik with the result 0-1 (0-0) in the 24th round of the Serbian Super League.

Vojvodina played with a player less from the 34th minute, as Stefan Đorđević earned a direct red card, and the only goal for the visiting team was scored by Duronjić in the 59th minute.

Before the start of the match, the representatives of the FK Vojvodina Friends Club presented an award to Nemanja Čović as the best player in Vojvodina of their choice in 2021.

After that, the President of FK Vojvodina Dragoljub Samardžić and a member of the Management Board Ljubomir Apro presented plaques to the former journalist of Sportski žurnal and author of several books about FK Vojvodina Miroslav Gavrilović and former journalist and commentator of Radio-televizija Vojvodine Lazo Bakmaz due to their retirement and as a sign of gratitude for the fact that they have been following and reporting on FK Vojvodina for so many decades.

Vojvodina had the first shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. Lazarević centered from a free kick, and Stevanović shot straight into the goalkeeper of Radnik from ten meters.

Vukčević had an even better opportunity in the 25th minute. Đorđević sent an excellent cross from the left flank, and the Vojvodina striker shot from five meters with his head next to the goalpost.

The key moment in the match happened at the end of half an hour of the game when Stefan Đorđević was sent off. The left back of Vojvodina hit Bogdanovski in the head. A recommendation came from the VAR room for the head referee to look into the situation, after which referee Šegrt showed a direct red card.

Đorđević decided to react immediately and introduce a defender, so in the 35th minute, Devetak replaced captain Nemanja Čović. Radnik became a more dangerous team with the player more on the pitch. Milovanović had the best chance for the guests in the last moments of the first half, when Emil Rockov was on the spot.

Vojvodina had the first opportunity in the second half as well. Vukadinović took the ball after a mistake by Radnik’s defense, entered the middle and shot over the goal from the edge of the penalty area.

Radnik managed to take the lead in the 59th minute from the first real chance in the continuation. Subotić ran on the right flank and returned the ball to Duronjić, who was in the right place and just put his foot down and defeated Rockov.

After receiving the goal, Slavoljub Đorđević reacted with a new change, as Matić replaced Vukčević in the 62nd minute. Seven minutes later, he had a nice opportunity. After Vukadinović’s return ball, Matić took a shot, Simić also caught the ball, but the goalkeeper Ranđelović defended.

Two minutes later, Stevanović had a new chance for Voša. Similar to the beginning of the game, Lazarević took a free kick, but the home team’s central back’s header ended straight into Ranđelović.

By the end of the game, Vojvodina shifted the focus of the game in front of the penalty area of ​​the visiting team, but there were no more chances, and therefore no more changes in the result. Vojvodina remained fourth on the table of the Serbian Super League with 36 points.
