Voša took the initiative at the end of the first half, it mostly played in front of the penalty area of ​​the home team, and Zukić had the first shot. In the 34th minute, Simić forced a free kick at 18 meters, and Zukić’s attempt was stopped by Dujmović, and that was also the only serious attempt of Vojvodina in the first part of the game.

The coach of Vojvodina, Slavoljub Đorđević, decided to make the first change at half time. Bastajic replaced Zukić, which led to a rotation in the attack, since Simić played behind Matić as the most dangerous player of the visiting team. Voša tried to endanger Dujmović’s goal until the end, but the home team defended themselves very well and closed all approaches to the goal.
