The first two friendly matches since he arrived at the new club, with only 45 minutes played each, were enough for Miljan Vukadinović to indicate that he would be a real boost for the Old Lady. With two goals against Kabel and Spartak, he was one of the most deserved for the victories achieved by the red and whites, with the first match demonstrating a real goalkeeper’s instinct and finding himself in the right place to hit the net, and in the second he showed remarkable skill in achieving beautiful goal from a free kick.

Undoubtedly, Voša fans are pleased with his arrival in Novi Sad, just as he is pleased with his stay among the red and whites so far.

– I came to one of the biggest clubs in Serbia and I am very proud of myself for that. I am grateful to the boss for requesting my arrival and I hope that I will maximally justify his expectations. As for Turkey, it’s not the first time I’ve been here, but as always, the ambiance is beautiful, the pitches are like carpets, the rooms are great, so we can be satisfied – says Vukadinović.

You changed a lot of clubs during your career, spending a significant amount of time in the Czech Republic. How did your football way go?

– As a 15 year old kid, I made my debut for Hajduk from Lyon. However, thanks to my older brother, who played successfully in the Czech Republic, it paved the way for me to start playing there, where I left when I was 17 years old. In the Czech Republic, I changed five or six clubs and I was generally pleased, with the fact that I also had a slightly longer break due to a knee injury and surgery. I returned to Serbia two years ago, to Zemun, where it was also very nice and I was provided with everything I asked for. After that, I went to Napredak, which to me was as correct as Zemun, but I paused there again for a few months, as my other knee hurt. Fortunately, I was able to come back and play well for six or seven games last half-season, which I imposed on coach Lalatović. I am now in Vojvodina with my head and my body, and I want to give my maximum. The guys are great and they accepted me great, which is why I’m really happy.

What was the main motive for your decision to move to Vojvodina?

– Honestly, in addition to Vojvodina, I had offers from some other clubs, but it was crucial that Vojvodina is one of the biggest clubs in our country and has great ambitions. We are chasing Europe and I would like to be a part of it, especially since I already played on the European stage when I was in the Czech Republic and I would love to experience the same with Vojvodina. Also, as our coach Lalatović said he would like to win the trophy with Vojvodina, I can say the same for myself.

When it comes to Nenad Lalatović, how did you get used to his way of working?

– The trainings are really good and the work is at a high level. He is certainly one of the best in Serbia as a coach. In my position, there are currently five to six players and that is why I want to impose myself and show my quality. There are a few more weeks left until the season goes on, and I always love it when it’s healthy competition because it forces me to do the best I can.

In the second part of the season, will Voša face challenges in the Super League and in the Serbian Cup?

– On the first day when I came to the club, I said that Vojvodina, by the performance from the autumn part of the season, deserved to finish the half-season even in the second place. The guys played perfectly and except for that game against Partizan, against all the other rivals they either won or parried them very well. However, we should also be satisfied with the third place, and in the spring we will do our best to finish among the top four positions and thus secure a placement in Europe. We are all focused on that and are working hard to achieve this goal.

As for your career, what are your general plans for the future?

– All the players here fantasize about going abroad, but I was already there and that wish came true. I’m not really thinking about anything except Vojvodina right now. I want to make the most for this club and be a part of this family, and I believe that my games and the quality that I show at the games itself will contribute to my future career.

Since you have scored two goals already in your first two friendly games that you played upon arrival at the club, you very quickly picked up the sympathies of the fans, who expect you to continue the same when the seaspm starts. What is your message to them?

– In Zemun, I experienced that the fans in the stadium cheered their team very warmly and that made me feel very nice. Vojvodina is a club that has a huge number of fans throughout the province, and each player plays much better when he knows that behind the club are fans who are loyal to it. Hopefully they will push the team further and be a breeze to our backs. I will always give my best on the pitch, and after the game, they can say whether it was satisfactory or not – said Vukadinović.
