Vojvodina coach Radoslav Batak pointed out that the game with Novi Pazar is the first in a series of important ones until the end of the season.

At the start of the playoffs of the Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia, the Old Lady welcomes Novi Pazar and wants to register another victory.

– Novi Pazar is our well-known opponent, I often say that every game is the most important, and so is this one. The players and all of us together in the club deserve to be here, because it means that we had a good period and a good streak. It will be difficult until the end, but we are handling it all well. A new old opponent awaits us on Saturday, but it won’t be the same. We have to go in with a calm head, to forget what happened in the last game. We want to be ready and be motivated to tie two victories after a long time. I expect that this time in the first half we will be dangerous for a goal – said Batak.

Although Novi Pazar also wishes for a potential placement in Europe, Batak only looks at his team and points out that the pressure in Vojvodina is in accordance with the size of the club.

– I would look at us like on the first day, as someone who grew up in a club with tradition and two championship titles in the old Yugoslavia and was in the competition to win the title several more times alongside teams like Red Star, Partizan, Dinamo and Hajduk. Vojvodina as a club deserves a winning mentality and that is what brings the pressure of the game for this club. Both the fans and everyone in the club should be reminded of how big Vojvodina is – stressed Batak.

He said that it is not excluded that he will play with two attackers in this match as well, which is the tactic that brought victory in the last duel with Pazar.

– Today we have another training session, everything is in circulation, we have analyzed both options. The players know what we should do when we have the ball, when we lose it, but a lot will depend on the form of the players and the development of the situation on the field and in accordance with the result – said Batak.

The Manager of Vojvodina added that minor injuries and muscle pains are a normal occurrence at the end of the season, but that he is happy that everyone except Bjeković is ready for tomorrow’s match.

– At the end of the season, those pains are normal, as the doctors call them – micro-traumas, but when the games come, that pain disappears after the warm-up and the players are ready to give their maximum. Everyone is ready except for Bjeković who still has an injured foot. Kabić did almost all the trainings, except for one conditioning one, and he is 90% ready. All the players are ready and motivated and they are aware that at any moment we can’t relax and take a break. We prepared to the maximum, as we have done so far, and I hope that will be enough for another victory – said Batak.

Tickets for this match will be sold at prices of 400 (west), 200 (east) and 100 dinars (north). Tickets for the west will be sold at the main box office of the stadium (between the west and south stands), tickets for the east will be sold at the east stand (next to the restaurant Ognjište), while tickets for the north will be sold at the Vojvodina fan shop on the west stand of Karađorđe. The box office will be open on match day, two hours before the kick-off.

Entrance to the east will be free for everyone who comes wearing FK Vojvodina’s logo (jersey, t-shirt, scarf, etc.).

The game Vojvodina – Novi Pazar is scheduled for Saturday at 4 p.m.
