Once again Korać, first goal of Bukinac and Voša is in the new Cup finale!

Players of Vojvodina FC secured placement to the finale of the Serbian Cup after defeating the team of TSC at Karađorđe stadium with the result 2:0.

Scorer of the lead goal at the match was Seid Korać in the 10^th minute, just like last year, when he scored a goal in the added time in Kragujevac, also for the placement to the Cup finale. The final goal was scored by Stefan Bukinac in the 85^th minute, while the assist for both goals was Dragan Kokanović.

Teams performed in the following lineups:

Vojvodina: Rosić, Butean, Korać, Sichenje, Barros, Petrović (from 59^th U. Nikolić), Medojević, Savićević, Kokanović (from 90^th Mladenović), L. Nikolić (from 77^th Bukinac), Romanić.

TSC: Simić, Radin (from 46^th Krstić), Jovanović, Savić, Jovanović, Đorđević (from 46^th Stanić), Pantović, Prestige, Degenek, Vulić, Radojević (from 79^th Lazetić).

It was festive today at Karađorđe because Vojvodina hosted a large number of ex-players, friends of the club and renowned guests, and before the start of the match the audience greeted the handball players of Vojvodina HC with ovations, because they had recently won the Cup of Serbia.

Voša was the first to threaten already in the 3^rd minute of the game, when Petrović shot from a free kick from 30 meters, but the goalkeeper Simić pushed the ball into a corner with a parade.

However, after the next interruption, Voša took the lead with a goal by Seid Korać! Kokanović performed a center shot from the left flank, and Korać sent the ball into the net with his head for 1:0!

After the goal, Voša was more concrete, but TSC threatened from one mistake of Lucas Barros, who sent a short returning pass, but Rosić slided in before the penalty area at the last moment, and pushed the ball of Prestige.

After that, TSC had their first and only shot on the goal in the first half, in the 30^th minute. Radin shot with his head from the left side, but Rosić defended the net by pushing the ball into a corner.

After half an hour of the match, Romanić found himself in the first good chance. Savićević passed to him excellently, but Voša’s attacker hesitated, and in the end didn’t shoot from the dangerous position.

In the 41^st minute Romanić had an even better chance, he escaped on the left flank and went alone in front of Simić, he shot the further angle, but the goalkeeper of TSC intervened masterfully. Already in the next attack Romanić was once again in the center of attention, this time he shot from the edge of the penalty area into the further angle, but the ball passed next to the goal post.

In the finish of the first half, Radin sent a dangerous shot from the distance, he shot over the bar, which was at the same time the last chance before halftime.

At the beginning of the second half, Voša performed a similar action from the interruption just like before the first goal, this time Medojević head kicked the ball, but Vulić blocked his shot.

In the continuation of the game, TSC had their first more serious chance in the 49^th minute, when Koraće excellently slided in and blocked Jovanović’s shot from 15 meters. Voša returned the favor a minute later, after a nice action that ended in a shot by Kokanović, but Simić was in position.

In the 52^nd minute TSC had a new dangerous attack. Prestige shot the first angle from the right side, Rosić intervened excellently. A parade of defences was continued in the 59^th minute when Lazar Nikolić attempted a shot from the left side, but Simić was in position once again. And in the 62^nd minute Rosić defended the net again, after an attempt by Jovanović from 20 meters.

A minute later, Voša performed one of the more beautiful actions since the start of the game they combined on the left side, and then Savićević passed to Barros on the left flank, and his center shot was blocked by the goalkeeper of TSC.

In the 74^th minute TSC managed to score a goal, but the VAR check followed, since before the center shot for the goal, Jovanović accidentally performed a foul over Kokanović.

As the end was approaching, Voša focused on defending the net, and playing a tactically more secure game on the center of the pitch, so as to keep TSC as further away from the danger zone as possible, and they waited for chances from counter attacks, and it was fruitful in the 85^th minute. The majority of work was done first by Medojević who sent a phenomenal deep pass to Kokanović, who lowered himself on the goal, and waited for the right moment to selflessly pass to Bukinac, who shot next to Simić for 2:0!

In the finish of the match, TSC went into full offence, and in the added time Krstić was only centimeters away from sending a center shot through the penalty box, but the ball from Sichenje ended in the corner. For the finish, Uroš Nikolić attempted a shot on the other side, Simić pushed the ball into the corner and that was all for today.

Voša managed to save the lead until the end, and secure a new placement into the Cup finale, which is scheduled for May 22^nd in Zaječar.
