Vojvodina beat Spartak 2-0 today as part of Voša’s family day, and coach Radoslav Batak believes that this was a good preparation for everything that follows.

Voša used the international break to socialize with the youngest fans, and at the same time to prepare for the continuation of the season in the Super League of Serbia.

– We know what our goal is at the end of the season, and today was a preparation for all that. Today we wanted to energetically, physically, tactically and technically test all the players and those who played less and we scored two goals, after corner kick and penalty kick, but those we won by pressing and forcing the opponent to make a mistake. We played a good game, we could have done better and must do better for what is expected of Vojvodina – said Batak.

The coach of Vojvodina welcomed the idea of Voša’s family day and hopes that it will become a tradition.

– I attended this event for the first time and this should become a practice, because things like this will create local patriotism and strengthen Vojvodina. Children who grow up in the club later become Vojvodina fans. During my entire playing and coaching career, whenever I was asked who I support, I always answered “Vojvodina”. That’s where I grew up, that’s where I beat Red Star and Partizan. I like the idea of Voša’s family day and I hope this will become a nice tradition – concluded Batak.

After the international break, Voša will face Partizan on Saturday at 8 PM at Karađorđe.
