An emergency committee meeting was held at the FSS Sports Center in Stara Pazova, at which important decisions were made for Serbian club football.
After voting by all the clubs of the Super League of Serbia, it was decided that within the 2019/20 season will be played the remaining four rounds, with no play-off and play-oit. Totaly 11 clubs voted for this format of the competition, including Vojvodina, while five (Red Star, Partizan, Čukarički, Radnički Niš and Spartak) voted for all 11 rounds to be played.
The calendar for the continuation of the spring part of the season has been adopted, according to which the 27th round will be played on 30th May, and the last 30th round will be on the program on 20th June. When it comes to the format for next season, additional consultations will be held with the Super and First League clubs of Serbia. The Serbian Cup will be played as planned. After the draw of the quarter-finals, three rounds will follow until the final winner and one game in each phase will be played. The dates are June 3rd (quarterfinals), June 10th (semifinals) and June 24th (final).
The junior category leagues are closed by March 15 this year and will not continue. Promotion to the higher and relegation to the lower rank will be applied in accordance with the rules as previously foreseen.
