The coach of Vojvodina, Slavoljub Đorđević, is satisfied with the performance of his team in the victory over Radnički 1923.
The Old Lady has beaten the team from Kragujevac 3-1 today, and coach of Voša pointed out that the second half is the best this season.
– I want to congratulate Radnički’s team and emphasize that I am extremely glad that this club is in the Super League, because the city of Kragujevac deserves it. The results they are achieving in this half-season are at an enviable level, they had three points less than us before the match and I rightly expected a difficult match. The match was like some previous ones in which we conceded goals, fortunately this time we managed to turn it around. I think this second half was the best in this half of the season. The boys got up, got a serious wind in the back from the fans and the team returned it in the right way. My guys may have been “cold” in one of these 14 games, the one in Kruševac. In other cases, they are always fighting and dealing with pressure. We coaches are here to help those guys, but we don’t play, they play – said Đorđević.
The coach of Vojvodina also praised the players who came in from the bench of Dejan Zukić and Nebojša Bastajić. He also underlined that he enrolls a large number of young players from Voša’s academy in every match.
– So far, we have finished games five or six games with several of our young players on the pitch, and we start with three, four and I don’t like to talk about that topic anymore. Zukić was never controversial. I talked about the fact that when he went to the gathering of the national team, he did not train enough. Now he stayed and he worked great. I respect all the players, and each of them has quality. I make the lineup in relation to the rival, just like the changes during the game. Whoever came in brought something. Bastajić closed that right side, Zuka brought a lot and I congratulate him – Đorđević concluded.
