FK Vojvodina and Driblab have signed a partnership agreement to integrate advanced statistics and big data into all talent search and performance analysis processes of the Serbian club’s sports management and scouting department, which will have access to the extensive database developed by Driblab, as well as to its consultancy services, with which to make more objective decisions.

In this agreement, FK Vojvodina, twice champion of the First Division of Yugoslavia and runners-up of the Serbian Super League in 2009, will have access to driblabPRO, the automated scouting platform developed by Driblab, with the aim of searching, measuring and analysing more than 200,000 players and a deep coverage of more than 180 competitions to analyse teams and matches, with which to obtain all possible information in the transfer markets and official competitions.

Having the support of companies that store and refine data to complement analysis is an increasingly important decision for the growth and competitiveness of clubs. The growth of football as an industry demands to be as prepared as possible to anticipate competitors, and big data enables each scouting department to save time in order to focus on more specific day-to-day functions.

Marko Jovanović, Sporting Director of FK Vojvodina, commented on the agreement: “We are extremely glad that we are starting cooperation with Driblab, because what they are doing is a novelty in Serbia and our football. This is something that all serious clubs practice, and Vojvodina once again confirms that it is rightfully counted among them. I believe that we will have a good and quality cooperation, for mutual benefit and satisfaction.”

For Salvador Carmona, CEO of Driblab, “gaining the trust of a club with such a long tradition in Balkan football as FK Vojvodina is a new challenge for us within the industry. It is a new country where we will be present, with the motivation to continue innovating and offering the best product to help Vojvodina to grow and detect great talents”.
