After the defeat of his team against Proleter, Vojvodina’s Manager, Radovan Krivokapić, said that throughout the week he warned the players to get out from the euphoria appeared after the victory over Partizan and placement in the play-off of the Super League of Serbia.

Vojvodina was defeated tonight against Proleter by 0-1 (0-0), in the first round of the play-off of the Super League of Serbia.

– We have achieved the primary goal that was set ahead of the start of this half-season, which is qualifying in the play-off. During this week, I warned that we got into a small euphoria due to this success, although I do not think that it was anything special, because Vojvodina should celebrate something much bigger than just qualifying to the play-off. However, given the situation, after the game against Partizan, we celebrated perhaps too much, which was reflected in this match. We had a desire and will, but that was not enough to defeat Proleter, to which I congratulate once again on reaching the play-off and tonight’s victory. The second goal that was set in front of me is the introduction of young players into the team, which I am partially fulfilling, and that is the way in which we will continue. I only hope that it will be accompanied by results – Krivokapić said.

In the next round, Vojvodina will play against Napredak in Kruševac, and that match will be played on Saturday, starting at 5 PM.
