Vojvodina qualified for the semi-finals of the Serbian Cup after beating Radnički 1-0 today in Niš.

The only scorer in the match was Nemanja Nikolić in the 43rd minute.

Due to the tragic event that happened yesterday at the Vladislav Ribnikar model elementary school in Belgrade, Vojvodina fans did not attend this match, in their own way they wanted to express their condolences to the families of the deceased.

The teams performed in the following lineups:

Radnički: Rosić, Jamkam, Mićin, Andrić, Škrbić (from 55th Petrov), Pejović, Belaković (from 72nd Jovanović), Stojanović, Marjanović, Varga, Marjanović.

Vojvodina: N. Simić, Jeličić, Traore, Ljubisavljević, Antonijević, Zukić, Topić (from 82nd Busnić), Baraye (from 62nd U. Nikolić), V. Simić (from 88th Vukčević), Čumić (from 82nd Milosavljević), N. Nikolić (from 88th Milošević).

Voša had the first big chance, in the ninth minute, Zukić combined Baraye with a goal with a deep ball, goalkeeper Rosić made a reflexive save and saved the net.

Voša had the next chance in the 23rd minute, after a coordinated action from the free kick, Čumić played past Zukić, but his shot was also stopped by goalkeeper Rosić.

The home team missed a good opportunity in the 28th minute, after a cross from the right flank, Belaković shot over the goal.

In the 43rd minute, Vojvodina took the lead, Yves Baraye took the ball 40 meters away with excellent pressing, the ball came to Nemanja Nikolić, who caught the running goalkeeper and hit the net with a lob shot for 0-1.

Voša went on the offensive and in the following, in the 49th minute, the guests had three attempts in one action. Baraye made a break from the right side, Nikolić headed it, then Čumić ran into the rebound, Rosić stopped both shots, and then Jeličić also sent the ball over the crossbar.

In the 57th minute, Zukić tried a shot from a distance, from about 30 meters, goalkeeper Rosić was on the spot again. Radnički threatened for the first time in the 60th minute, Mesarović shot directly at Simić from the right. Marjanović had an even better chance in the 72nd minute, when he headed at goalkeeper Simić after a corner kick.

Radoslav Batak made changes in the finish to freshen up the team in the midfield, with the entry of Busnić and Milosavljević instead of Čumić and Topić. In the last moments of the match, Radnički’s goalkeeper Rosić brought down Milošević outside the penalty area and earned a second yellow and red card.

Two minutes later, after a VAR assist and a handball by defender of Radnički, the referee pointed to the penalty spot, but Vukčević shot wide of the post.

Voša kept a clean sheet until the end and advanced to the semi-finals of the Serbian Cup.
