The break in Super League over the upcoming weekend by Vojvodina players will be used to play a friendly match against a club from one of the strongest leagues in the world.

On Saturday, October 12th, the red and whites will play a friendly match against Brescia Calcio, currently the 15th-ranked team in Italian Serie A, which will also be the first match between the two clubs in history.

This friendly match was agreed thanks to a great friendship between FK Vojvodina’s sports director Nikola Lazetić and Brescia Calcio’s Manager Eugenio Corini, who earlier played together in Chievo Verona and Torino FC.

The match will be played at the Orzinuovi Stadium in Brescia, starting at 3 pm, and the expedition of FK Vojvodina will go to Italy by charter flight from Belgrade on Friday at 4:50 pm.

There is no doubt that this match will be a great preparation for Vojvodina’s team ahead of the continuation of the season, considering the quality of its next opponent, which, among others, in its squad has a world famous striker Mario Baloteli, former Champions League winner and a member of many great European clubs.

The return of Vojvodina’s expedition to Novi Sad will be also by a charter flight, immediately after the game.
