Vojvodina has beaten Cement from Beočin today by 2-0 (1-0) in a friendly match played in Veternik.

In front of about 100 spectators at FC Vujadin Boškov, the scorers for Voša were Čović in the first and Zukić in the 80th minute (p).

Teams performed in the lineups:

Vojvodina: Simić (from 58th Toroman) – Andrić, Bralić, Stojsavljević, Devetak (from 46th Mirić) – Đurišić (from 61st Jeličić), Zukić – Đuričin, Kokir, Nešković (from 27th Mladenović) – Čović.

Cement: Đurikin (from 46th Glišić) – Peković (from 61st Senderak), Zeljković (from 76th Marjanović), Ungar, Zogović (from 81st Rankov) – Ivanović, Jelić, Tomić, Jovišić (from 75th Stojanović) – Baletić, Sekulić (from 46th Tepić).

Vojvodina took the lead in the first minute. Ungar played a pass back to goalkeeper Đurikin, but Čović got to the ball before him, bypassed him and easily hit the unprotected net.

However, despite the early lead of the red and whites, the game then took place mainly in the middle of the pitch. Vojvodina had bigger ball possession, while Cement tried to strike from the counter-attacks.

In one situation like that, in the 64th minute, Tomić played a brilliant pass to Senderak, who ran into the penalty area from the right and shot, but the ball went several inches past the post.

On the other hand, in the 80th minute, referee Nebojša Dimitrijević awarded a penalty to Vojvodina. On the left of the penalty area, Kokir made a cross, and Čović lowered the ball to Zukić, who was tackled by Zogović. Due to arguing after a foul has been made, referee Dimitrijević showed Zogović a red card, but in agreement between the two teams, Cement had the right to make the substitute, so Rankov went onto the pitch. The penalty was surely taken by Zukić, who increased Voša’s advantage.

By the end of the match there were no more opportunities, so the game ended with Vojvodina’s 2-0 victory.
