Vojvodina won against Sloboda from Užice by 5-0 (3-0), in a friendly match played in Novi Sad.
In front of about 100 spectators at SC “Sajmište”, the scorers for Voša were Mesarović in the eighth, Gajić in 26th, Matić in 40th, Zukić in 47th and Conneh in the 66th minute.
The teams played in the following lineups:
Vojvodina: Simić (from 53rd Kačavenda) – Živković, Veselinović, Zlomislić, Ignić – Topić, Tegeltija – Zukić, Matić (from 46th Conneh), Mesarović – Gajić.
Sloboda: Jovanović (from 68th Cvijović) – Jezdimirović, Đ. Lazović (from 61st Filipović), Đ. Simić, Sergei – N. Lazović, Tvrdišić, Živković, Milenković (from 66tj Kočijašević) – Molerović, M. Simić (from 68th Ilić).
Voša took the lead already in the eighth minute, when Mesarović got the ball in the penalty box of Sloboda and then, with a precise shot from a distance of about 10 meters, brought his team into the lead.
The same player could have scored a goal in the 14th minute too, when he received a nice pass from Gajić, but the ball hit the outside of the net after a shot from about 10 meters.
In the 18th minute of the match, the shot from about 11-12 meters away was sent by Matić, the goalkeeper Jovanović saved it, after which Gajić took a shot from around five-six meters distance, but the ball went near the goal. Only eight minutes later, again Matić had a shot, but this time the ball went a few centimeters above the crossbar.
However, in the 26th minute, red and whites doubled the lead. On the left side of the pitch, Matić played a good pass in front of the goal towards Gajić, who easily placed the ball in the undefended net of Sloboda.
Only five minutes later, Zukić had a good chance, when he shot from about seven or eight meters distance, but the ball hit the post, only so that in the 35th minute a penalty was rewarded to Vojvodina.
Zukić went well next to the two players of Sloboda and passed the ball to Matić, who was tackled in the penalty area, so the referee David Matić called for a penalty. The penalty kick for Vojvodina was taken by Gajić, but he didn’t managed to score, since the ball hit the crossbar.
In 39th minute, in a situation “one on one” with the goalkeeper Jovanovic was also Tegeltija, but the keeper of the Sloboda managed to punch the ball into the corner. However, after that corner kick, Vojvodina scored its third goal in the match.
Mesarović centered, and Matić set his head well and drove the ball into the rivals’ net. Already in the second minute of the second half, it was 4-0 for Vojvodina.
Zukić got the ball at the edge of the penalty area and lobed the goalkeeper Jovanović, unlike in the 57th minute, when Jovanović saved his shot from a similar distance.
In 66th minute, Voša scored its fifth goal in the match. Mesarović took a free kick from about 25 meters, Veselinović made a header, goalkeeper Jovanović saved it, but the ball bounced back to Conneh, who with a precise shot from about ten meters distance manage to put it into the net.
The new opportunity for red and whites came in the 72nd minute, when Gajić was in good solo attack, since he passed along the two Sloboda players and shot from about 18 meters distance, but the ball hit the post. Until the end of the match, red and whites had several more solid attacks, which mostly ended with long distance strikes, but there was no change in the result, so the match ended with the convincing victory of Vojvodina.
