Between the great victory against Partizan and another extremely important game against TSC on Friday, the football club Vojvodina today continued its campaign under the slogan “You are our first love” by visiting the primary school “Jovan Dučić” in Petrovaradin.

As always when the red and whites come to visit a school, the interest of the children was great, so even the fact that the visit was organized in an intermediate shift, when one part of the students had already finished classes and the other had not even started, did not stop the children to, in cold weather, wait patiently in front of the school for Voša’s football players, in order to meet them as soon as possible, take pictures with them and get their autographs.

This time, Veljko Simić, Nikola Simić, Aleksandar Busnić and Ivan Vukčević were hanging out with the little ones. In the educational part of the visit, the marketing director of FK Vojvodina, Miloš Subotin, first addressed the children, who briefly introduced them to what the football club Vojvodina represents, although, given that many children came to school today wearing Voša jerseys, t-shirts and caps, most of them probably already knew it.

As someone who built his career both in Serbia and abroad, and at the same time played for the Serbian national team, Veljko Simić told the students that only with daily work, persistence and perseverance can you achieve your goals and dreams, while Nikola Simić, who took a break for a while due to an injury, emphasized that it is very important not to give up even when everything does not go as planned.

Unlike their peers from the other schools that Voša visited, the students of “Jovan Dučić” Elementary School had only one question, “How is Bjeković?”, which caused laughter from all present, and Veljko Simić answered that Marko Bjeković feels good and that he will convey to him the greetings and concerns of the student who asked the question.

After that, in the school hall, a game of soccer was played with Voša’s ball between two teams made up of a mix of students and Old Lady soccer players, while all the other children enjoyed watching the match and along the way making videos from this event, organized as part of the traditional event “Dučić’s days”. Of course, after the match, they all rushed to the field to meet each other, take pictures and get autographs from their idols, and there was no less crowd around the stand where Voša’s promoters distributed posters, flyers, class schedules and tickets for the next match that Vojvodina will play at Karađorđe, on Tuesday against Novi Pazar.
