Before the start of the playoffs and the final battles for places that lead to Europe, the football club Vojvodina today continued its action under the slogan “You are our first love” by visiting the elementary school Veljko Petrović in Begeč, the birthplace of Vujadin Boškov and Radomir Krstić, the greats of the Old Lady who wrote their name in golden letters in the long and rich history of the club.

This time, Mirko Topić, Uroš Nikolić, Vladimir Miletić and Filip Antonijević hung out with the children, and due to the great interest of the children, who had a handful of questions for Voša’s first team players, the educational part of today’s visit was held in the school hall, where to the children first addressed marketing director of FK Vojvodina, Miloš Subotin, who briefly introduced them to everything that represents the Old Lady of Serbian football and the role that Vujadin Boškov and Radomir Krstić, as natives of Begeč, had in creating its history.

After that, Mirko Topić told the students that, regardless of what they decide to do, the most important thing is to always believe in themselves, while Uroš Nikolić told them that only with persistence and not giving up can they reach their goal. Of course, the common message to the students from all of Voša’s football players was that they should play sports, but at the same time they must not neglect school.

To the general delight of the children, after the educational part of the visit, a game of football was played in the school yard between teams that were made up of football players of Vojvodina, male and female students of Elementary School Veljko Petrović. Many beautiful football moves and goals were seen, but also team spirit and fair play, exactly those values that the Old Lady stands for.

Of course, smiles and positive energy were also provided by Voša’s promoters, who handed out posters, flyers, class schedules and tickets for the game against Novi Pazar to the children, and of course, after the soccer game, the children did not miss the opportunity to ask Voša’s football players an autograph or a souvenir photo. Also as a memory of this day, the football club Vojvodina presented the Veljko Petrović school with three branded Old Lady soccer balls, for which, just like during the entire visit, the director of the school, Milan Tatić, the teachers sincerely and warmly thanked.

The Vojvodina football club also thanks the director of the school and its teaching staff for their kindness and cooperation, noting that today’s visit gave us real pleasure and made this day truly an unforgettable day.
